The film created at AP'S second European Film Acting Retreat "A Chateau in the Loire" is now on the film festival circuit! It is nominated for Best Featurette, Best Director, Best Ensemble Acting, Best Screenplay and Best Cinematography at the prestigious Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema!
Acting Professionally's third European Film Acting Retreat took place October 15 - 22 in the beautiful Algarve area of Portugal, completing the trilogy. It was a fantastic experience for all and is currently in post-production. Stay tuned for updates! Acting Professionally's second European Film Acting Retreat took place in the Loire Valley October 16 -23,2021 and was a roaring success with 14 actors enjoying a stay in a gorgeous chateau, enjoying beautiful French food and making a film!!! "A Chateau in the Loire" is a completed film and beginning its film festival submissions!
Acting Professionally's first ever European Film Acting Retreat took place in Umbria, Italy at the Castello Ducale from October 19 -26. It was a grand experience and be sure and check out photos from the experience! Our film "A Castle in Umbria" has garnered over 20 awards at various film festivals and won for Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Score, Best Short Film, Best Ensemble Acting, Best Actor, Best Actress! "Women Filmmakers" presented to Lisa Bruhn and Terry Ross as well as being nominated for Best Dramatic Feature at Burbank International Film Festival.

Exciting News! "The Last Resort" starring an all AP cast, won Best Director (Terry Ross) and the Mary Austin Award for Screenwriting (Lisa Bruhn and Terry Ross) as well as garnering nominations for Best Screenplay, Best Score, and Best Actor at the Idyllwild International Film festival, January 11 - 15, won the Jury Prize at the Los Angeles Independent Film Awards and a Gold Award for the California Film Awards!
